Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Everett, WA. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to transport the client to appointments, errands, and activities.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, following the client’s care plan, and communicating with family and care team. Compensation is $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment.

Qualifications

CNA/HCA/CAREGIVER NEEDED

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Everett, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND RELIABLE, INSURED VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. The caregiver will provide transportation for the client as needed for appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday
Hours between 8:30AM – 2:30 PM

COMPENSATION

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment

JOB SUMMARY

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client’s care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

The caregiver will also safely transport the client when transportation is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Safely transport the client to medical appointments, errands, shopping, activities, and other destinations as needed.
• Assist the client safely in and out of the vehicle.
• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist clients with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client’s condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle when transporting the client.
• Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.

REQUIREMENTS

• CNA or HCA that is a current and active license.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
