Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Everett, WA is seeking a compassionate CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide in-home support for a local client. You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, and transportation.

This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with a daytime Monday–Friday schedule (12:00 PM–4:00 PM). Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required. Competitive pay $21.00–$23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active Washington CNA or HCA credential as applicable.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful and dependable approach to caregiving.
• Ability to follow established care plans and work independently.
• Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.

Responsibilities

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Everett, Washington.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND RELIABLE, INSURED VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED. The caregiver must be able to transport the client as needed for medical appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Part-time: 20 hours per week/Other shifts are also available

COMPENSATION

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

You will also safely transport the client when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Support safe ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Safely transport the client to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.
• Assist the client safely in and out of the vehicle.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with shopping and accompany the client on errands.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Keep the vehicle clean and safe when transporting the client.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, active Washington State CNA or HCA credential, as applicable to the position.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to caregiving.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $21.00–$23.00 per hour.
