Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Everett, WA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support tailored to individual needs. You will assist with daily living activities, follow the care plan, and communicate with family and care team to ensure consistent, dignified care.

You will also transport the client safely when required, and contribute to a warm, supportive home environment with meals, errands, and light housekeeping as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Reliable, insured personal vehicle.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to transport clients safely.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) preferred/required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Safely transport the client to appointments, errands, shopping, and activities.
• Assist with meals following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.

CNA/HCA/CAREGIVER — EVERETT, WA

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Everett, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND RELIABLE, INSURED VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. The caregiver will provide transportation for the client as needed for appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.

SCHEDULE

Various days, approximately 5 days per week
Hours between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

COMPENSATION

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment

JOB SUMMARY

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

The caregiver will also safely transport the client when transportation is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Safely transport the client to medical appointments, errands, shopping, activities, and other destinations as needed.
• Assist the client safely in and out of the vehicle.
• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist clients with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle when transporting the client.
• Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Washington State driver's license required.
• Reliable, insured personal vehicle required.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Ability and willingness to transport clients safely.
• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
