Job summary

Monumental Weddings & Events in Indianapolis is seeking an Event & Wedding Intern to gain hands-on experience helping bring weddings and special events to life at our venues. You’ll assist with tours, guest welcomes, and day-of coordination, learning how to create memorable moments from start to finish.

This paid internship offers approximately 20+ hours per week with evenings and weekends required, giving exposure to event management, CRM usage, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a hospitality program (Sophomore or above preferred).
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience required.
• Able to work ~20+ hours per week with evenings and weekends.
• Flexible schedule based on weddings and events.

Responsibilities

• Support Event Manager with coordination and execution of weddings and events.
• Assist with family and sales matters as directed by Event Manager.
• Welcome guests and provide a professional, positive experience.
• Answer inquiries by phone and email.
• Handle inquiries and direct questions to appropriate staff.
• Assist with tours for potential clients.
• Assist with wedding bookings and final meetings.
• Set up, execute and breakdown of events; travel to locations as needed.
• Operate event equipment and CRM systems as required.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and a safe environment during events.
• Complete checklists and maintenance logs; monitor property during events.
• Follow policies and attend staff meetings and training.
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
