Socket.dev is seeking a Social Catering Sales Manager to lead sales, planning, and execution of weddings, galas, and upscale social events. You will serve as a trusted advisor from initial inquiry through event completion, coordinating with hotel and banquet operations to deliver memorable celebrations.

The role offers hybrid/work-from-home flexibility and collaboration with a dynamic catering team dedicated to exceeding client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience in restaurant or banquet setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage account maintenance and prospect new business with clients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Catering to meet and exceed budgeted sales goals and drive revenue.
• Develop goals and strategies to target wedding, gala, and social events.
• Review menus, packages, and upgrades to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with hotel and banquet operations and host tastings and events onsite.
• Maintain accurate notes in PMS and Catering database.
• Attend local wedding organizations and cultivate reference accounts.
