Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a motivated Private Events Coordinator to support planning and execution of member events within the Club environment. You will assist with client communication, event details, proposals, contracts, and internal coordination to move events from inquiry to completion.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in hospitality, events, and sales while learning from the Private Events Sales Managers and Director of Catering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred; or combination of education, training, and experience.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in hospitality, events, sales, customer service, or related field.
• Previous experience in a full-service hotel, private club, restaurant, event venue, catering company, or hospitality environment is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Answer the Private Events sales line and collect preliminary information from members and prospective clients.
• Check date availability and provide alternative dates or connect with Sales Team.
• Respond to routine member and client inquiries in a professional, timely manner.
• Assist with client communications, event details, proposals, contracts, and other sales materials.
• Support for client site visits and tours when needed.
