Job summary

Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is seeking part-time Events Set-Up and Banquet Server to join the Stone Barn and Xavier Hall teams in Standish, ME. You’ll help with wedding and special events, setting up, serving, and breaking down spaces to deliver stellar guest experiences.

Roles require days, nights and weekends, with on-call scheduling based on events. Prior food service is preferred; a Food Handler certification is required or obtainable within a short period after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Current Food Handler certification, or ability to obtain certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, complete a driver training program and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• Complete set up and break down of events per specifications.
• Assist with internal and external event setups including seating, tables, supplies, light prep.
• Report damages or issues to the Agritourism Events Manager.
• Transport products from kitchen and storage location to event location.
• Provide high level customer service and guest satisfaction.
