Job summary

The Trustees of Reservations, a premier conservation organization in Massachusetts, seeks a Sales & Events Manager for deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum in Lincoln. You will drive wedding, corporate, and private event sales, coordinating with exclusive caterers and staff to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize venue utilization.

Qualifications

• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and sales goals.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build a sales pipeline.
• Degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable experience.
• 5–9 years of sales and management in hospitality or cultural institutions.
• 2+ years of self-managed experience in weddings, corporate events, and event management.
• Excellent organizational and event management skills; can prioritize multiple events.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for wedding and private event bookings at the venue and manage the full booking process.
• Own and achieve annual booking, revenue, profitability, and utilization goals for assigned venues.
• Collaborate with exclusive caterer, photographers, planners, and industry professionals to drive new business.
• Oversee event planning, coordination, and day-of execution for assigned events.
• Coordinate with property staff to ensure smooth event operations and calendar management.
• Maintain client files and communicate with staff and vendors.
