Job summary

The Trustees of Reservations is seeking a part‑time Events & Visitor Services Associate in Lincoln, NE. You will support visitor services, admissions, and event operations at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. This role emphasizes customer service, front desk duties, and collaboration across departments.

Commitment to evenings and weekends, with a 25‑hour workweek. Associates assist with security and event support, ensuring a welcoming experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of experience working with events and facilitating operations.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends; some events end late.
• Experience with AV systems is preferred.
• Good judgment, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing.
• Ability to handle escalated situations calmly and solve problems on the spot.
• Strong customer service skills and desire to help visitors.

Responsibilities

• Staff visitor station with admission sales and check-in.
• Provide warm, helpful front desk support and guide visitors.
• Support security, events, and cross‑department tasks as needed.
• Assist with event setup, signage, and vendor management.
• Maintain high standards of service and safety during events.
