Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, catering, or high-volume restaurant settings.
• Safety First : Expertise in implementing and upholding safety and sanitation best practices.
• Food Handling Knowledge : Thorough understanding of proper food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef in executing banquets according to Banquet Event Order details and Wedgewood's established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following comprehensive cleaning procedures throughout the day and participating in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning.
• Receive deliveries from approved suppliers, carefully inspecting all items to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Stock all food items according to strict food safety protocols and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
