Overview

Mission to Commission Inc, a growing nonprofit startup focused on military career transition support, is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Website Content and SEO Manager. This role will be responsible for managing the comprehensive content strategy, site maintenance, and SEO optimization of natalieschibell.com, the official digital platform of the President and Founder of Mission to Commission.

This position is pivotal in maintaining a compelling digital presence, executing advanced SEO strategies, and ensuring content integrity across all platforms. The Website Content and SEO Manager will work closely with the Director of Creative Strategy & Product Operations to align content with Mission to Commission’s broader strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Management:

  • Update and maintain site content, including thought leadership articles, educational resources, and multimedia assets.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Mission to Commission’s mission, voice, and brand guidelines.

Podcast Integration:

  • Manage podcast uploads, ensuring episodes are categorized, tagged, and optimized for SEO visibility.

Site Maintenance & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve broken links, formatting inconsistencies, and outdated content.
  • Maintain content accuracy and ensure high-quality visual presentation across the site.

SEO Strategy:

  • Implement targeted SEO strategies, including meta descriptions, alt text, and structured data.
  • Monitor site performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and provide actionable insights to optimize content visibility.

Security & Technical Integrity:

  • Conduct security checks, backups, and updates to maintain site integrity.
  • Address technical issues related to site speed, mobile responsiveness, and data integrity.

Collaboration & Strategy:

  • Partner with the Director of Creative Strategy & Product Operations to align content updates with ongoing branding and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the President and Founder in communicating thought leadership and mission-aligned content through digital channels.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing content and SEO for WordPress sites.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, content optimization, and analytics (GA4 proficiency required).
  • Experience in content management, multimedia uploads, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align content strategy with organizational objectives.
