Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Blockchain Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale next-generation blockchain and tokenization infrastructure in Dallas. You will engineer reusable Web3 platform capabilities spanning smart contracts, token lifecycle services, wallet integration, and multi-network connectivity from architecture to production.

Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable blockchain solutions across Ethereum/EVM, Besu, Canton, and private

Qualifications

• 5+ years building distributed systems or backend platforms.
• Hands-on Web3 engineering experience.
• Strong Ethereum/EVM knowledge: smart contracts, ABI encoding, gas, events, finality.
• Experience with Canton, Daml, validator/participant concepts, or institutional blockchain workflows.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native production operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable Web3 platform services for tokenization and transaction processing.
• Develop backend services interfacing with blockchain nodes, wallets, and custody platforms.
• Create multi-network blockchain abstraction layers for Besu, Canton, Ethereum, and Layer 2s.
• Implement connectivity via JSON-RPC and WebSocket; handle event indexing and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Canton validator strategy and security best practices.
