Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for the Web team. You’ll work on real applications destined for production, collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to a live exchange platform using Python, Django and ReactJS.

We value curiosity, adaptability and a drive to learn in a fast-paced financial tech environment. The internship runs June to August with a final presentation and deployment, supported by mentorship and hands-on projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and not scheduled to graduate before December of internship year.
• Interest in developing and deploying high-performance, data-driven websites.
• Experience with MVC web frameworks and modern web standards (HTML5/CSS3).

Responsibilities

• Join a Scrum team dedicated to a summer project with interns and mentors.
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up, weekly review and retrospective.
• Implement a solution using Python, Django and ReactJS.
• Collaborate with mentors and business owners on code reviews and best practices.
• Deliver the final product to business owners with a production deployment.
