Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is offering a Software Engineer Internship with the web team. You will build real applications in production use, collaborating with stakeholders to design and deploy solutions using Python, Django and ReactJS.

You’ll join a Scrum team, attend ceremonies, and work on summer projects from June to August, presenting a final deliverable. Strong interest in high‑performance, data‑driven websites and MVC frameworks is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and not scheduled to graduate before December of the year of internship.
• Interest in developing and deploying high‑performance, data‑driven websites.
• Experience with MVC web frameworks and modern web standards (HTML5/CSS3).
• Experience with JavaScript; Python experience or willingness to learn Python.

Responsibilities

• Join a Scrum team for a summer project with interns and mentors.
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies and participate in daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with business owners and UX team to iterate on a design proposal.
• Implement solutions using Cboe web technologies (Python, Django, ReactJS).
• Write tests and participate in code reviews and best practices; deliver production deployment.
