Job summary

Palo Alto JCC in Palo Alto, California, seeks a versatile Web Operations Specialist to support our online platforms at the intersection of web development and design, technical systems support and content management.

This on-site role requires a fearless technical problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for ensuring mobile-responsive, accurate event data across WordPress and Shopify.

Qualifications

• WordPress site management experience required.
• Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals.
• Understanding of UI/UX and mobile-first design.
• Experience with SEO best practices for WordPress sites.
• Familiarity with premium themes and page builders (Elementor Pro, TheGem).
• Ability to read API documentation and troubleshoot data sync with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot platform sync operations ensuring event data loads properly.
• Build landing pages and update content with Elementor Pro and TheGem.
• Create/edit copy and format images for WordPress and Shopify events.
• Install, configure and update WordPress plugins.
• Train OFJCC staff on program operations and troubleshooting.
• Balance platform management with content creation and testing.
