Job summary

FPW Media is seeking a Senior Web Specialist to build, maintain, and optimize branded websites across multiple client projects. You will manage project scope, estimate timelines, and collaborate with design, copy, digital, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Based in Springfield, Oregon, this on-site role demands hands-on development using WordPress, Shopify, and related tools, with a focus on UX/UI improvements and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a client-facing, multi-account agency role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Figma ecommerce platforms.
• Ability to scope projects, estimate timelines, and assess budget impact.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• On-site work in the Eugene/Springfield area and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize WordPress and Shopify sites for performance, security, and accessibility.
• Develop marketing/e-commerce sites using WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Figma, and BigCommerce.
• Apply UX/UI recommendations with cross‑functional teams to ensure high-quality experiences.
• Establish and uphold development standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Mentor and support fellow developers to promote quality and growth.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
