Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Web Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of websites for our Clinical Research Group (CRG) at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role will be responsible for managing initiatives to optimize our customer-facing websites and supporting digital marketing campaigns to enhance user engagement and strengthen our online conversion.

The ideal candidate will have a background in website management, digital marketing, content marketing, etc. within a B2B and/or life sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee the ongoing development and optimization of our customer-facing websites, ensuring content, functionality and design support user engagement and lead generation. Support alignment of website performance with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with global marketing, campaign management and solution teams to align digital efforts with strategic priorities and ensure cohesive execution.
  • Partner with internal web team, digital marketing, and marketing operations to support implementation of web design and content updates.
  • Oversee web vendor relationships, including project management and contract negotiations to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
  • Develop and support web marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the SEO vendor relationships and collaborate with the internal content team to execute organic growth strategies that increase visibility and conversion of existing customers and new audiences.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on website traffic, campaign performance and user behavior using tools such as Google applications, A/B testing platforms and data visualization platforms. Leverage data to make informed decisions and optimize performance across digital channels.
  • Provide post-launch web analysis of campaigns to refine messaging, improve conversion rates and enhance overall user engagement.
  • Candidates must be able work East Coast hours

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Experience in CMS, WordPress and/or AEM
  • Google application experience (GA4, GTM, GSC)
  • Data visualization tool experience preferred – Power BI, Looker Studio
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization – strategies, best practices, tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of website design and layout
  • Ability to consistently work well with others and negotiate for optimal outcomes
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and deliver a quality product on time and within budget

  • Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequent mobility required.
  • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.
  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
