Job summary

RealWork is based in Austin, TX, and builds websites for home-service pros using a Duda-based template platform. You will turn contractor brands, jobs, and service mixes into fast, SEO- and GEO-optimized sites that win local work.

The role combines hands-on site building, editing AI-generated copy, and light HTML/CSS tweaks to ensure each page reads with a clear voice and brand perspective. You’ll work in an AI-native production workflow and bring strong design judgment to every launch.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of live sites to point to.
• Reading, writing, and debugging HTML/CSS without hand-holding.
• Experience with DNS and domain configuration across registrars.
• Familiar with at least one website builder or CMS (Duda, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Framer).
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals: structure, metadata, schema, content hierarchy.
• Knowledge of local SEO concepts: Google Business Profile, service-area targeting, NAP consistency.
• Strong design eye for typography, spacing, color, and layout.
• Clear point of view on copy quality and brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch contractor websites on the RealWork template, configuring layouts, modules, and content for each new customer.
• Review and edit AI-generated page copy to ensure a unique voice and perspective.
• Handle light HTML/CSS customization to deliver on-brand results.
• Apply SEO and GEO best practices on every site, including metadata, schema, and service-area pages.
• Ensure sites look polished with strong typography, layout, imagery, and visual polish.
• Collaborate with Activation and CS to translate onboarding inputs into launched sites on schedule.
• QA sites across desktop and mobile for performance, accessibility, and content accuracy.
• Suggest template improvements to speed up future launches.
