Job summary

Georgia State University is seeking a College Website Coordinator for the College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) in Atlanta. The role focuses on managing CEHD websites, ensuring accessibility, and providing training to stakeholders.

You will work with CEHD Public Relations Unit and central IT teams, overseeing WordPress-based sites, improving content structure, and optimizing user experience across digital properties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience required.
  • Experience managing multiple websites within a large organization or higher education setting preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress, HTML/CSS, accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508) and SEO/analytics.
  • Experience training and supporting users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and enhance CEHD websites using WordPress.
  • Develop and update responsive web pages, templates and site functionality.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability and content quality across digital properties.
  • Provide training and consultation to faculty and staff on WordPress and web best practices.
  • Collaborate with CEHD Public Relations Unit and university teams on web projects.
