Robinhood is seeking a Web Engineer to lead the web development process and build products from inception to deployment. You will collaborate with design, product management, and internal platforms to deliver high-impact features within multidisciplinary product teams.

This role centers on a web-first, high-performance trading product and requires in-person attendance at least 3 days per week in the designated office locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time professional experience with modern Web standards, technologies, and frameworks.
• Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments.
• Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience.
• Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale.
• Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
• Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
• Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
• Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
• Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
