Agile Business Concepts is seeking an experienced Web Developer to design, develop, secure, maintain, and enhance modern websites and web-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, website security, cloud environments, encryption, content development, and web analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, deploy, monitor, maintain, and enhance websites across multiple web development frameworks and platforms.
• Build and administer WordPress websites, including establishing basic hosting environments, installing and configuring WordPress, developing sites, and extending functionality through commercially available plugins.
• Develop and maintain websites using CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related web technologies.
• Support additional web platforms and frameworks such as GoDaddy Website Builder, Joomla, Wix, Express.js, Next.js, and similar technologies.
• Develop, edit, and adapt website and blog content for a variety of subjects, audiences, and industries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify content requirements and transform those requirements into effective digital content and web experiences.
• Identify and mitigate website vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security controls to harden websites and cloud-hosted environments.
• Implement modern encryption algorithms and security techniques within software and web applications.
• Monitor website performance, availability, security, and functionality and recommend improvements as appropriate.
• Perform basic reviews of web traffic, system logs, and website activity and maintain website analytics capabilities.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, recommendations, and solutions to nontechnical stakeholders through briefings, website content, documentation, and written materials.
• Maintain awareness of current web development technologies, security practices, digital marketing tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate professional experience in:

• Web design and general Internet principles and technologies.
• WordPress development and administration, including hosting setup, WordPress installation, site development, configuration, and plugin integration.
• Writing and adapting content for websites, blogs, and digital audiences across different topics or industries.
• CSS, JavaScript, and PHP development.
• Website vulnerability mitigation and security hardening.
• Securing websites and associated cloud environments.
• Implementing modern encryption algorithms within software or web applications.
• Reviewing web traffic, logs, and website analytics.
• Translating complex technical concepts into language that can be understood by nontechnical audiences.
• Working independently and collaboratively with stakeholders to research requirements and develop appropriate web solutions.

Desired Qualifications

Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
