Job summary

Optimizely is seeking a Web Developer to join our digital Experience team. You will turn design files into polished, high-performing web experiences across our marketing and product sites, working with designers, content creators, and engineers.

You will build reusable UI components, ship pixel-perfect pages from Figma, and connect the front end to content through a headless CMS, using React, Next.js, and modern front-end tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Strong JavaScript/React fundamentals and front-end engineering experience.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms and modern web tooling.

Responsibilities

• Strong JavaScript and React fundamentals with a solid grasp of component-based UI development.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, including Tailwind CSS.
• Translate design files (Figma) into production-ready web pages.
• Familiarity with Next.js or similar server-rendered React frameworks.
• Version control with Git and standard workflows.
• Ensure consistent styling and high code quality.
• Bridge communication between content/marketing and engineering.
• Strong communication in deadline-driven environments.
