Job summary

Seeking an experienced API Technical Writer to independently own, prioritize, and drive the documentation lifecycle across API portfolios. You will partner with product developers, solution experts, and marketing copywriters to produce clear, technically accurate API documentation and developer portal content.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation Backlog & Strategy: Identify, prioritize, and publish updates to address gaps, outdated content, and usability issues across API portfolios.
• API & Developer Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive API references (endpoints, parameters, sample code, error handling), authentication/getting started guides, FAQs, and release notes.
• Tutorials & Visuals: Create tutorials, use-case narratives, video scripts, and visual diagrams to demonstrate API integration patterns and business value.
• Stakeholder & Marketing Collaboration: Interview internal technical experts to validate system logic while collaborating with marketing teams to produce technically accurate sales collateral and web copy.
