Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer for the Developer Experience team to build foundational libraries, build systems, and tooling that empower web engineers across our platform. You will work on monorepos, CI systems, and agent-first development tools, while mentoring peers and shaping a high-performance engineering culture.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional group of engineers, product managers, and leaders, and you will report to the Engineering Manager of the Web Developer

Qualifications

• Expert in Node.js and TypeScript ecosystem.
• Experience shipping in large, complex codebases and monorepos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Mentorship and cross-team collaboration experience.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools across the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational libraries, build systems, and development tooling for web applications.
• Architect and implement scalable tooling for monorepos and CI.
• Mentor and empower web engineers through knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leaders on key initiatives.
