Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer for the Web Developer Experience team. You’ll build foundational libraries, monorepos, and development tooling powering DoorDash's web applications.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leaders to deliver large-scale initiatives and mentor peers to elevate technical excellence. You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Web Developer Experience within the Developer Platform.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience shipping changes in large codebases/monorepos without full context.
• Proficient with AI coding tools in full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Architect foundational libraries and cutting-edge build systems for all web applications.
• Build and maintain monorepos, build & CI systems, and development tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leaders to drive critical initiatives.
• Mentor and promote best practices within the web engineering community.
