Job Description

The Web Developer will work closely with the Project Manager under the direction of the Creative Director. They will consult with the client along with the Project Manager to understand the vision, requirements, and purpose of the web presence or digital journey. They will keep the Project Manager informed of the progress of each project on a daily basis. They will work within their software to design and code. They will manage all web presence pertaining to new development, revisions, and maintenance. They will collaborate with internal and external professionals to accomplish the vision of each project. They will design and implement the digital customer journey based on the needs and strategy of the Marketing department. They will also work with the Creative Director and Graphic Designer on the layout and aesthetic design of all web presence.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

? Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in the area of web development.

? 2+ years of professional web development experience (preferred)

? 3+ years of experience in similar role (preferred)

? Proficient in HTML, CSS, Wordpress, and Wordpress Plugins

? Understanding of Javascript, PHP, MySQL, and DNS configurations

? Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.

? Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

? Proven working experience in web development

? A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

? Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

? Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
