The ideal candidate has 5+ years of front-end design, proficiency in Webflow/WordPress, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, and a data-driven mindset. A portfolio is required and startup experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Graphic Design/Web Design/Visual Communications or related field).
• 5+ years of front-end web design experience focused on websites and landing pages.
• Proficiency with CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong analytical mindset; leverage engagement data to optimize user journeys.
• Experience with conversion rate optimization in high-volume environments preferred.

Responsibilities

OpenLoop is looking for a Web Designer to join our team at HQ in Des Moines, IA.

Please note: We are seeking local candidates (in or near Des Moines), in order to fulfill the hybrid in-office schedule requirement. The required days onsite will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Relocation is not offered for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Own the design and iteration of multiple websites across the OpenLoop brand and company partners.
• Design branded, high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with our conversion rate optimization team to analyze data and create new designs to drive rapid growth.
• Collaborate with the web development team to ensure designs are accurately translated into code, maintaining obsessive quality and site performance.
• Work with the SEO team to design with site speed and structure in mind.
• Design digital image ads for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Support other design projects, including printed materials such as sales brochures, presentations, product labels, posters, fliers, direct mail materials, and branded boxes or postcards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of front‑end web design experience focused on websites and landing pages.
• Proficiency with CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong analytical mindset; able to leverage engagement and conversion data to optimize user journeys.
• Experience with conversion rate optimization in high‑volume environments preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and clearly articulate ideas.
• Self‑starter comfortable creating structure in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in startups or high‑growth organizations is highly desired.
• Ideally background in eCommerce, HubSpot landing pages/emails, or digital ad design.
• Familiarity with healthcare marketing strategies is a strong plus.
