Coda Search│Staffing is seeking a Web Development Manager in Dallas. This role is hands-on and focuses on delivering complex client websites from discovery to launch, while staying deeply involved in technical work.

The ideal candidate combines Drupal and WordPress expertise with strong client communication and collaboration with UX/design teams. This is a hybrid position with ownership of delivery, architecture decisions, and QA.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of web development experience.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Experience owning complex, custom website projects from requirements through launch.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with UX and design teams to translate concepts into functioning websites.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, security, deployment, and best practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and business applications.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on coding, client interaction, and project delivery.
• Agency or consulting experience is a strong plus, especially with client relationships and ownership.
• Experience building B2B websites for manufacturing, healthcare, technology, or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of client website projects from discovery through launch and ongoing support.
• Remain hands-on in development, particularly Drupal and WordPress.
• Work directly with clients to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications.
• Partner with UX/design teams to review sitemaps, wireframes, and designs for feasibility.
• Make technical architecture and development decisions for client projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, priorities, and deliverables.
• Build responsive, accessible, secure, SEO-friendly websites.
• Integrate third-party APIs and business applications.
• Conduct QA, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing maintenance and security.
• Provide technical guidance to one direct report.
