Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to manage Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments for enterprise analytics. You will own the Health System Balanced Scorecard lifecycle, including data modeling, publishing, and governance, ensuring ADA accessibility and secure embedding in applications.

You will lead architecture, optimize performance, and guide stakeholders with best practices for executive reporting across the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of technical experience including HTML, JavaScript, Java/J2EE, and SQL.
• Strong database skills with Oracle or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Debug, enhance, and educate users about electronic internet systems.
• Deliver content management solutions for websites and assist with technical and design recommendations.
• Builds high customer satisfaction by managing end-users expectations and documenting resolutions.
• Resolves bugs promptly and ensures high-quality, reusable, well-documented code.
• Ensures code is thoroughly tested to avoid production defects.
• Researches issues independently and shares findings in technical meetings.
• Assists in building infrastructure and participates in departmental projects.
• Ensures timely completion of department tasks.
• Assists in testing websites and systems for standards.
• May perform usability studies to improve website architecture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
