Job summary

The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Tableau Administrator/Developer to join the Information Technology Division in a hybrid role. You will configure, maintain and support Tableau Server, while leading a center of excellence and training staff on Tableau.

You will interface with business stakeholders to deliver BI content, leveraging SQL and data management practices. Strong Tableau expertise and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in BI software development and maintenance.
• At least 2 years of Tableau experience.
• 1-3 years of Tableau Server administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• Expert knowledge of Tableau development, practices, techniques, and standards.
• Familiarity with data management processes related to data, SQL, SaaS, etc.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), problem-solving abilities, and strength in understanding and analyzing requirements to deliver solutions within the Tableau platform.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support Tableau Server and related Tableau client products.
• Provide centralized Tableau center of excellence, train staff and engage with internal user groups.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop content and deliver solutions on the Tableau platform.
