Job summary

United Wholesale Mortgage seeks an experienced Web Server Administrator to manage IIS environments, provision and decommission servers, and monitor performance. You will keep systems secure with patches and documentation, and collaborate with the team on projects and on-call support.

Requires 2+ years of IIS production experience, Windows Server 2019+ expertise, and strong communication. On-site attendance in Pontiac, IL is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional IIS Webserver administration in production.
• Experience building and upgrading Windows Server 2019+.
• Clear communication with team members and clients.
• On-site attendance Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage Web Server Environment and provisioning/decommissioning.
• Monitor uptime and performance of server environments.
• Ensure security requirements and Windows patches are applied.
• Install and upgrade software per procedures and document changes.
• Provide status reports to leadership and assist on-call coverage.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Manage Web Server Environment
• Server provisioning, decommissioning and troubleshooting; consisting of various applications
• Monitor systems uptime and performance
• Ensure server environments meet security requirements and kept up to date with Windows Patches
• Install and upgrade software based on established procedures
• Create and maintain design, operation and procedure documentation
• Provide status reporting on projects and issues to leadership
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and issue resolution
• Provide technical guidance to lesser-experienced web administrators
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience administering IIS Webservers in a production environment
• Experience in building, maintaining and upgrading Windows Server 2019+
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• On-site attendance Monday-Friday

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• BS or BA degree in Information Systems
• MCP or MCSA
• SCCM software deployment and imaging
