Job summary

Oorwin AI is seeking a Web Accessibility Specialist to improve and remediate web content for accessibility across digital channels. You will remediate HTML/CSS/JS, ensure WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance, and support SharePoint content with ARIA roles and semantic HTML.

The role requires 2+ years in webmaster/front-end or accessibility roles, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong collaboration with content teams, IT, and vendors to maintain ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years as Webmaster/Front-End Developer/Accessibility Specialist.
In-depth knowledge of ADA Title II, WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, WAI-ARIA, and Section 508.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Experience with SharePoint Online/Server and ARIA roles.

Responsibilities

Remediate non-compliant HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web structures to WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.
Ensure all web assets (PDFs, videos, forms, graphics) meet accessibility standards.
Assist with accessibility testing on new and existing content.
Collaborate with content creators, IT, and vendors to enforce accessibility best practices.
