Job summary

BGF Industries, Inc is seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and optimize weaving equipment ensuring safe, efficient production. The role suits hands-on problem-solvers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate will inspect and service mechanical, pneumatic, and lubrication systems, replace wear parts, and document maintenance activities while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with industrial machinery, pneumatics, bearings, conveyors, motors, or automated equipment is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on weaving equipment and related systems.
• Respond to equipment downtime and perform corrective maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Inspect, clean, replace, and adjust mechanical, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
• Install and replace machine components, including feeders, belts, bearings, gears, chains, nozzles, sensors, and other wear parts.
• Diagnose air system issues and maintain proper airflow, pressure, and timing settings.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
