Job summary

Engineered Floors in Dalton, GA seeks an experienced weaving operator to run 13–23 machines on a twelve-hour shift. You will creel and thread yarn, monitor loom indicators, and make timely yarn break repairs to keep production on schedule.

The role requires color vision, stamina for long shifts, and the ability to perform hourly quality checks. Prior machinery experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School grad able to read and write; no computer skills required.
• Experience with machinery preferred; ability to operate weave looms and creel racks.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate 13–23 weaving machines and creel racks.
• Lift yarn cones weighing 8–25 lbs.
• Stand on feet for twelve-hour shift with breaks.
• Identify and repair yarn breaks quickly.
• Distinguish yarn colors and respond to loom indicator lights.
• Perform hourly quality checks to meet production demands.
