Engineered Floors LLC is seeking a loom weaver to operate 13–23 weaving machines and maintain fabric production. The role involves creeling yarns, threading through loom components, and responding rapidly to yarn breaks.

Workers must handle up to 25 lb cones, distinguish yarn colors, and work on a long 12-hour shift on foot, including breaks. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be capable of reading and writing.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate with the ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Operate 13-23 weaving machines.
• Creel and thread yam through loom devices to weave fabric.
• Lift cones of yam (8–25 lbs) and place on creel rack.
• Work on 12-hour shift on feet, with breaks.
• Identify and repair yarn breaks; rethread yarn as needed.
• Move creel/cone racks and reposition machines.
• Walk between machines and climb loom catwalks.
• Distinguish yarn colors and loom indicator lights (yellow, blue, red).
• Pass hearing test due to high-noise area; communicate with foreman and coworkers.
• Ensure timely responses to loom indicators and yarn breaks to meet production demands.
• Make decisions on correcting yarn breaks and creel rack setups.
• Perform hourly quality checks to meet production demands.
