Job summary

Energy Savers Inc. is seeking a skilled tradesperson to perform removal, installation, and replacement of building materials under supervision. This role requires general carpentry knowledge, ability to multi-task, and strict adherence to safety practices.

You will work across Washington state on various projects, including overnight assignments. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential, along with a commitment to learning new tasks and following directions.

Qualifications

• Experience in removed/installing/building materials and general carpentry work.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and productively.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and follow directions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear protective safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, and replace building materials as directed (insulation, doors, windows, flooring, etc.).
• Capable of performing to meet company and client expectations.
• Inspect and follow safety and technical requirements; use necessary tools safely.
• Travel within Washington state and stay overnight on some jobs as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):

• Remove, install, and replace various building materials as directed— including assisting in installing insulation, doors, windows, flooring, skirting, vents, caulking, weather-stripping
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and productively
• Capable of performing to meet the level of expectation set by the Company and inspecting party's requirements
• General carpentry knowledge
• Proven ability to work efficiently
• Knowledge of and demonstrated safe use of all necessary tools
• Able to understand and follow direction
• Willing and capable of learning new tasks
• Must be able to work in confined spaces i.e. crawlspaces & attics
• Able to function without direct supervision
• Able to perform required manual labor, including ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must know proper lifting techniques and be in general good health
• Must wear common protective and safety equipment and provide basic hand tools
• Must have a clean driving record including a valid driver’s license
• Applicant must be willing to travel throughout the State of Washington, staying overnight on some jobs for up to a week at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certified
• Lead Safe Certified
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay and Benefits

Pay rates between $26-$33.75 per hour, depending on experience and proficiency. Prevailing wage rates apply to most jobs and typically include higher rates.
