Job summary

DTN is seeking an Associate Weather Risk Analyst to join our Weather Operations team in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on delivering high-quality weather analysis and forecast products to DTN customers through text, verbal, and graphical content, leveraging strong meteorological expertise in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science, solid synoptic analysis and forecasting skills, and be able to work rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field.
• Strong synoptic analysis and forecasting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Residence in Minnesota or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast key global weather patterns.
• Deliver text and graphical weather content.
• Collaborate with internal teams for forecast accuracy.
• Monitor and resolve issues with weather graphics creation and distribution.
• Support improvement of forecasting processes and operational workflows.
