Job summary

DTN is seeking an Associate Weather Risk Analyst to join our Weather Operations team in Bloomington, MN. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality weather analysis and forecast products to DTN customers through text, verbal, and graphical content.

The ideal candidate brings strong meteorological expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment, delivering accurate, timely, and impactful weather insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
• Strong synoptic analysis and forecasting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast key global weather patterns and atmospheric conditions.
• Develop and deliver detailed text and graphical weather content using DTN tools and datasets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure forecast accuracy, consistency, and product quality.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to weather graphics creation and distribution.
• Support continuous improvement of forecasting processes and operational workflows.
