WHOOP in Boston is seeking a Senior Industrial Design Lead to shape the future of hardware and wearable experiences. You will move between long-range vision and precise execution, guiding form, fit, materials, and manufacturing across teams.

You will lead design for hardware, bands, and accessories, translate insights into architectures, sketch concepts, prototype rapidly, and mentor a team. The role requires collaborating with engineering, CMF, manufacturing, and branding to deliver

Qualificações

• 8+ years of industrial design experience in consumer electronics, wearables, health technology, or related fields.
• Portfolio demonstrating concept development, prototyping, and production execution.
• Experience bringing products from concept through manufacturing and launch.
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, body-worn products, CMF, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead industrial design for hardware, bands, accessories, and wearable ecosystems from concept through production.
• Translate user, athlete, and market insights into design strategies and product architectures.
• Create design concepts through sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, visualization, and storytelling.
• Drive wearability studies, fit analysis, and human factors exploration across body types and activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and CMF to balance design intent with feasibility and cost.
• Lead CMF direction with brand partners to reinforce the WHOOP design language.
• Build and evolve design systems for hardware and on-body experiences.
• Prototype rapidly across fidelity levels and mentor junior designers.
• Present design work to senior leadership with clear strategic and business justifications.
