Job summary

Unity Talent Solutions in Boston (onsite) seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for wearable health tech. You will own end-to-end mechanical design, DFM, tooling, and rapid prototyping to move from prototypes to mass production.

The role requires 7+ years in mechanical engineering, deep miniaturisation in wearables or similar, and a proven track record scaling to volume production. You will report to the CEO and be the hardware go-to expert.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Deep miniaturisation with small form factor electromechanical assemblies (wearables, hearables, or similar)
• Proven track record scaling from prototypes to mass production (DFM and tooling release)
• Builder mindset: test to learn, not to confirm

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design, DFM, and tooling execution, end to end
• Rapid prototyping and empirical testing to de-risk timelines
• Delivering a confident, on-schedule design freeze by Q4
