Job summary

LiquidXR seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and iterate electronics for our wearable platform in Los Angeles. You will own the electrical architecture from concept to production, focusing on compact, low-power sensing electronics and robust interconnects.

You’ll bring up prototypes, validate systems, and produce documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This in-person role offers stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 3–6 years hardware design, bring-up and debug for PCBA (wearables/IoT).
• Experience with low-power MCU, BLE/Wi‑Fi, PMICs, battery charging.
• Proficient in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeters).
• Knowledge of IPC standards, DFM/DFT and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Ability to document and communicate hardware designs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end electrical design for wearable components.
• Create schematics and high-density PCB layouts.
• Develop test plans and validate electrical systems.
• Prototype bring-up and debug at board and system level.
• Produce BOMs, layouts, and test reports.
• Address EMI/EMC issues and signal integrity.
• Collaborate with product, mechanical, firmware, and vendors.
• Support production scaling and DFx activities.
