Job summary

Liquid XR in Los Angeles is seeking a Software Engineer to interface with embedded systems, ML models, and game engines. You will write C/C++ for BTLE hardware, expose capabilities to Unity, Unreal, and Godot, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance wearable input devices.

You will contribute to testing, motion tracking, data validation, and tool development, while exploring sensor fusion and ML-driven improvements for real-time applications.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C/C++.
• Familiarity with platform specific languages (Swift, C#, TypeScript, Kotlin).
• Knowledge of IMUs and VQF algorithms.
• Experience integrating ML models in real-time apps.
• Experience with multiple popular game engines.
• Experience with embedded systems or consoles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• BSc or MSc in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write C/C++ code to interface with custom BTLE hardware.
• Build systems to expose hardware capabilities to Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and engines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full application stack.
• Test and debug with embedded systems; investigate motion tracking and pose estimation.
• Create tools for data collection, validation, and analysis.
• R&D with sensor fusion, machine vision, and motion capture.
