Job summary

LiquidXR is a Los Angeles–based startup building a wearable platform. We seek a Software Engineer to interface with embedded systems, ML models and 3D game engines, focusing on reliable, reusable systems that extend our wearable input devices.

You will connect with BTLE devices, perform motion/orientation estimation using IMUs, and create plugins for Unity, Unreal, and Godot. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to test, debug, and improve the full stack, while exploring sensor

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C/C
• Experience with platform-specific languages such as Swift, C#, TypeScript, and Kotlin
• Familiarity with IMUs and VQF algorithms
• Experience working with or integrating ML models in real-time applications
• Experience with multiple popular game engines
• Experience with embedded systems or consoles
• Excellent communication skills
• BSc or MSc in CS/Engineering/related field
• Bluetooth device experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Interface with BTLE hardware using C/C++
• Expose hardware capabilities to Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and engines like Unity and Unreal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full application stack
• Test and debug with embedded systems and verify motion tracking/pose estimation
• Develop tools for data collection, validation and analysis
• Engage in R&D with sensor fusion and machine vision
