Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. in St. Louis, MO seeks a contractor to fit and train patients with the Assure wearable defibrillator.

The APS role is trained and certified by Kestra and will travel to hospitals, patient homes, and clinics to provide fitting services. The position is a paid per fitting assignment with flexible daytime/evening/weekend hours and requires strong patient care skills, ability to coordinate with prescribers and caregivers, and a commitment to confidentiality and data

Qualifications

• Experience in patient and/or clinician education is required.
• 1 year in paid patient care experience.
• Clinical or engineering background suitable for roles in cardiac care devices.
• Ability to obtain hospital system credentialing and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train patients with the Assure wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Work in daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes for fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size.
• Transmit essential paperwork for garment and services.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits and equipment.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies.
