Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background (nurses, cardiac device sales reps, etc.).
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
• Background check required; Florida and Ohio level 2 screenings.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Credentialing for hospital system entry may be required.
• HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical/Fire Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence to Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• May include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes for fittings.
• Measure patient for garment size and ensure proper fit.
• Process paperwork for garment and services.
