Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist to perform patient fittings for wearable defibrillator therapies in Terre Haute, IN. The role acts as the local patient care representative within the sales team and will coordinate fittings with prescribers and caregivers.

The position requires clinical or engineering background, patient-care experience, and willingness to travel; training and credentialing are provided. This is a paid per fitting role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales, clinical engineers, cath lab techs, PAs, or ECG techs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via training assignments.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in ASSURE patients with patient care skills.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Accept assignments with daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine garment size.
• Review and transmit paperwork to receive the ASSURE garment and services.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits, garments, and equipment.
• Adhere to confidentiality pledges.
