Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an experienced Software Developer for the Navy Tomahawk program in Dahlgren, VA. You will join a Scrum team to design, implement, test, document, and analyze defects in an Agile environment as a journeyman level professional.

US Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance eligibility are required; on-site work 4+ days per week. The role requires at least five years of software development experience with C++ or Java, strong OO design skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with C++ and/or Java in a professional setting.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System.
• Debug reported issues and perform causal analysis.
• Support all lifecycle activities with emphasis on software development.
