Job summary

Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) seeks a Software Developer to join an agile team responsible for the full software life cycle of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). The role requires on-site presence in Dahlgren, VA and five years of experience in Java, JavaFX, and related technologies.

You will participate in DevSecOps practices, perform code reviews, and contribute to automated testing, building, and delivery workflows using GitLab, Gradle, SonarQube, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in software development.
• On-site work in Dahlgren, VA 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement applications using Java, JavaFX, and Guice.
• Manage code with Git and GitLab, including merge requests and repositories.
• Participate in DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline, run unit tests, ensure code coverage, and review SonarQube results.
• Perform static analysis with SonarQube to identify vulnerabilities and ensure quality.
• Create and manage virtualized environments with VMware Workstation.
• Handle artifacts via GitLab, Artifactory, and Nexus for delivery to customers.
• Automate builds with Gradle and support agile processes using JIRA and Confluence.
