Job summary

SimVentions, located in King George, VA, is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to test TTWCS software across surface, subsurface, and FMS configurations at on-site locations in King George and Dahlgren. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required.

You will conduct lab testing, document results, troubleshoot hardware and software, and develop test procedures and TVMs while collaborating with government personnel and SimVentions’ management.

Qualifications

• BS in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or military operational experience as TTWCS Operator/Maintenance Technician
• Experience with testing of tactical weapon systems in lab settings
• Familiarity with CBT&E and automated testing tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and builds in a lab setting.
• Document lab results in logs; troubleshoot hardware, simulators, and networks.
• Develop and modify test procedures to verify requirements and system functionality.
• Create and maintain Test Verification Matrices (TVMs) and generate test plans/reports.
• Communicate testing results verbally and in writing with management and customers
