Job summary

SimVentions, a leader in defense software testing, seeks a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our King George, VA team. You will test TTWCS software across configurations, document results, and collaborate with government personnel to verify requirements.

Minimum Bachelor's in STEM with Navy experience preferred; active Secret clearance required. On-site presence at NSWC Dahlgren and customer site is expected, with some travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science from an accredited university majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study.
• Operational experience as a TTWCS Technician can substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and lab settings.
• Document lab results in logs and reports.
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and networks.
• Perform data analysis and develop data extraction/reduction elements for verification.
• Create, review, and execute test procedures and TVMs.
• Generate test plans and reports; present summaries at reviews.
• Coordinate with management on test initiatives and issues.
